This is a very interesting topic and video indeed! I sincerely think that advertising is a very subtle form of e-learning particularly with the ever-increasing presence of banners and other forms of adverts on the net.
The normal internet user is continuously faced with adverts in almost any application he/she uses. Whether he's chatting on MSN, sending an e-mail, posting on facebook, reading the news on the timesofmalta.com (or any other site)...there are ADVERTS trying to continuously tingle the 'WANT' feeling within him/her and turning it into an actual need!
Thus we are unconsciously being targeted with adverts and conditioned into a lifestyle which may not necessarily be our own.
